I realised I hadn't posted anything on this blog for a while, so here is one of my latest photos of my degree show exhibition! Just a small section of the space.

I made this bag on commission for a client. I was able to use the specfications my client gave me to create an individual and specialised product.

A pair of purses

These purses make a nice pair. I like the contrasting peach thread I used for the smocking on the larger purse, this purse also has a bright pink lining.

This is a small smocked purse with sequin detailing and a princess pleated scarf with crochet edges. The fabric used for the scarf is silk hemp mix like the purse, but it is lighter and has less of a satin sheen. I dyed all of the fabrics and yarn myself.

This is a purse I made on commission for my Mum. It is white to go with the jacket she will be wearing to my brother, Stuart's wedding in July. The flower smocking detail along the top gives this bag beautiful detail. Made in silk-hemp fabric.
